Kashmir Point Charlie: a long term Kashmir-Berlin Art exchange project
by Silke Kästner ( Berlin) and Inder Salim (Kashmir/Delhi) for workshops,
performances, exhibitions and residencies between artists from Berlin and Kashmir.
This is starting with Silke Kästner's residency at Sarai (New Media Cultural center in Delhi )
where she would explore and develop the possibilities of new collaboration with Artists from
Kashmir including a visit to Srinagar Kashmir and work closely for reconcillaton between Muslims
and Hindus of Kashmir. Such exercises would be add on to Inder Salim's visit to Berlin this summer
to invoke the metaphor of divided Berlin with the present day Kashmir issue ( conflict between
India and Pakistan as well)
